Seems to be a really crazy bug in this new WhatsApp update … seems to have an issue with turning the notifications off for a little peace of mindĪnnoying crashes, chat issues and emojis. Then again after having received several messages with the phone call messages stopped coming in and wouldn’t go out from my WhatsApp.įinally I tried turning on the notifications for WhatsApp in my iPhone from iPhone’s settings and suddenly found that my WhatsApp was functional again. ![]() But still no messages would go out until I tried sending a picture directly from my photos app and those messages were received yet they didn’t show up in my own chat window. After several hours I asked someone to call me and my phone rang and several messages came in. Interestingly I could still download undownloaded pictures and voice memos from older messages but nothing new would come in or go out. Also attempted a hard restart and killed apps and freed up a lot of space but to no effect on WhatsApp. I took it to be an internet issue however after ensuring that there were no internet issues and that WhatsApp was not down in Pakistan I attempted restarting my phone. Yesterday evening I suddenly found that no messages were coming in or going out. My WhatsApp notifications have been blocked for a few months now. ![]()
